Build Your Creative Courage

We give Newfoundlanders and Labradorians of all ages and all skill levels non-competitive, fun opportunities to push themselves creatively.

We coordinate the RPM Challenge, Stand-Up Challenge, Math Circles of St. John's, and other programs and events in Newfoundland & Labrador.

The all-inclusiveness of Unpossible’s value system is something I can’t stop thinking about. ...In St. John’s, if you have a dream of recording your own album or doing stand-up, Unpossible is making it real.
— Douglas O'Roark, Executive Director of Math Circles of Chicago

We had a great 2017. Here are a few of the things that happened.

Newfoundland and Labrador artists created 130 albums of original music for the 2017 RPM Challenge.

In 2017 we passed the 1,000 album-mark for albums recorded by Newfoundland & Labrador artists as part of the RPM since 2008.

In April we co-resented the province's very first Hebocon (crappy DIY robot battle) at Sci-Fi on the Rock with the Newfoundland Robotics Club.

We spread the NL RPM listening parties over five evenings, live at the Rocket Room in St. John's.

A $10,000 grant was awarded to Unpossible NL from the Memorial University Office of Public Engagement to create our new youth-focused Math Circles program.

18 people performed at our final Stand-Up Challenge Gala at the LSPU Hall at the Braxton Comedy Festival.

Our social enterprise — St. John’s Paranormal Supply Co. — operates out of the the St. John’s Farmer’s Market selling spooky artisanal sodas made from scratch.
