The St. John's Cookie Throwdown was one part baking competition, one part bake sale,  all parts delicious. With prizes donated by local businesses, celebrity judges, and just a redonkulous amount of cookies.

All funds raised will go to support the creation of the Stand-Up Challenge, a new creative challenge based on the RPM Challenge to write and perform a set of stand-up comedy in one month.

BEST KID’S
Mia Worthman — Chocolate Chili with Whipped Cream

“These are chewy and have likely the most perfect amount of chili heat that we’ve ever had in a sweet. Delightful combination!”

BEST CHOCOLATE CHIP
Angela Lee

“Nice and chewy, not too sweet. We can taste the salt, which is key. Good ratio of chips to cookie, and a balanced sweetness.”

BEST VEGAN
Harry Stone

“Carrot cookies with an orange glaze pecan on top really topped it off. ‘Buttery’ glaze is amazing touch to a vegan cookie. The goodness of carrot cake in a cookie.”

BEST PROFESSIONAL
Rocket Bakery — The Rocket Cowboy Cookie

“An awesome cookie. Great texture.”

BEST DECORATED
Laurel Keating of Smart Cookie — Sugar Cookies

“Amazing design and variety. Incredible detail.”

BEST UNEXPECTED INGREDIENT
Yolande Modica — Ginger Candied Seal & Chocolate Chip Biscotti

“A mild, surprising flavour that worked very, very well.”
